Quilts
I enjoy making quilts. The entire process is exciting! From deciding on a design and picking out fabric all the way through stitching the binding to the back of the quilt; it is all very satisfying. I machine sew and quilt, because I just don't have the time or patience to do it by hand. I keep saying that I should try applique because it is portable and I could take my work with my to the races, but as of yet I still haven't done that.
My favorite quilt is our wedding quilt. In place of a guest book, I made quilt blocks and everyone signed a block. Then I sewed them together to make this beautiful quilt. It hangs in our living room.

Baby Quilts
Baby quilts are my favorite type of quilt to make. The bright colors and juvenile prints are fun to work with. Every baby deserves a quilt and I want to do my part to make that happen. These small quilts don't take long to complete and are easy to machine quilt. Below are some of the baby quilts I have made. Click on the photo to see more about the quilt.
Project Linus
I also make quilts for Project Linus. The organization is named after Linus from the Peanuts fame because they collection blankets and quilts!) for kids in crisis. Below are some of the quilts I have made for Project Linus. Click on a photo to see a larger photo and more infomration.
